A platform for nature positive progress

As the urgency to restore nature accelerates, the gap between ambition and action has never been more apparent. Biodiversity is in sharp decline. Climate resilience is under threat. And the long-term viability of supply chains - including wool - hangs in the balance.

The Woolmark+ Impact Program responds to this challenge, designed to unite conservation, research and industry action to build a more resilient wool industry. It connects ambition with action through a curated portfolio of high-impact, investment-ready projects.

Four investment themes

The Woolmark+ Impact Program responds to this challenge with a strategic focus on nature positive outcomes. It is designed to unite conservation, scientific research and industry action to drive regenerative agriculture and improve biodiversity, while building a more resilient wool industry. The program connects ambition with impact through a curated portfolio of high-impact, investment-ready projects that align with global goals for restoring ecosystems and regenerating natural capital.

Nature positive & resilient agriculture

Nature positive & resilient agriculture

This theme supports collaborative opportunities in agricultural practices that restore ecosystems, improve soil health, and boost the long-term resilience of wool-growing communities.

Emissions reductions & removals

Emissions reductions & removals

Projects in this theme focus on accelerating practical, science-based solutions to lower greenhouse gas emissions and remove carbon - such as methane mitigation and nature-based carbon sequestration.

Biodiversity conservation & restoration

Biodiversity conservation & restoration

This theme provides opportunities dedicated to protecting and restoring biodiversity habitats, recognising that healthy ecosystems are essential for sustainable agriculture and textile supply chains.

Circular innovations & textile manufacturing

Circular innovations & textile manufacturing

This theme focuses on advancing innovations that drive circularity across the textile manufacturing value chain - from sustainable design and low-impact processing to fibre recovery and reuse.

Each theme hosts a portfolio of scalable, science-led projects, with clear goals and transparent reporting. Tailored engagement options help partners align their sustainability ambitions with verified, high-impact initiatives.

Projects for Partnership

The curated structure of the Woolmark+ Impact Program unlocks cross-sector collaboration and channels resources where they matter most. Delivered in partnership with leading research institutions, conservation groups and industry experts, every project is built for integrity and transparency to benefit fibre, land and livelihoods.
