Why have you partnered with The Woolmark Company?
My dream is that the fashion industry transitions away from synthetic fibres and I am so excited to support an organisation which helps to scale and promote the use of natural and sustainable fabrics in fashion.

What do you love about Merino wool?
I love that Merino Wool is so versatile, can be worn in any season and for any occasion - from camping to eveningwear - and is fully biodegradable.

Why is choosing natural so important?
Everything we consume should be able to return back into our natural system. This is not the case with synthetic fabrics as they stick around forever. Not just that, plastic fabrics, when washed, shed microfibers that pollute our environment, our oceans which kills wildlife, and our food systems which puts toxins into our bodies. The best solution is making clothing from natural fibres like Merino Wool.

How have you used Merino wool to replace synthetics in your life?
When I moved away from single-use plastics in 2012 I also moved away from synthetics in my wardrobe. Wool is a staple in my closet.

What are your top tips for living a plastic-free life?
Identify one sustainable swap that you can make and work it into your routine. Then move onto the next. These small steps add up to creating positive impact.
